Sia Partners acquires digital agency Ready Set Rocket
Sia Partners, a Paris-headquartered management and technology consultancy, has acquired Ready Set Rocket (RSR), a New York-based full-service digital agency.
Founded in 2009, RSR provides services in brand and communication strategy, digital strategy, creative, paid media, product design, and data and analytics. The firm has a team of 30 professionals who have supported large clients such as BlackRock, Conde Nast, Sweetgreen, and Michael Kors.
Sia Partners will roll RSR into SiaXperience, the digital marketing and design business it launched in March 2022. The RSR deal builds on Sia’s July 2022 acquisition of Addison, a New York-based creative agency.
“Acquiring Ready Set Rocket consolidates SiaXperience's position in the U.S. and reaffirms our ambition to have a full-service creative agency,” said Raazi Imam, managing partner of SiaXperience. “This transaction will enable us to multiply synergies and grow our next-gen capabilities, combining strategy and management consulting with creativity and design, data science and AI, life science, and cybersecurity.”
The RSR deal will expand Sia’s US operations to over 600 employees in 12 locations – including 150 design and creative professionals.
As part of the transaction, Lauren Nutt Bello, CEO of RSR, will join Sia as a partner, while Kitty Tsang, chief strategy officer of RSR, will join as a managing director.
“Becoming part of Sia Partners is an incredible opportunity that lets us integrate a global platform and expand our service offerings to better support our clients,” Bello said.
Sia plans to grow its US headcount to more than 2,000 consultants by 2027, and its global headcount from 3,100 to 5,000 in 2027.
The French consultancy advises client on corporate strategy, turnaround, supply chain, compliance, marketing and pricing, IT strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data science.
Sia earlier this year acquired Notion Consulting, a New York-based leadership and organizational change consulting firm.
