Rimkus launches brand unification
Rimkus, a Houston-based engineering and technical consulting firm, has unified its sub-brands Capital Consulting International (CCi) and Hagreaves Jones under the Rimkus brand, effective August 30, 2024.
Rimkus in 2021 acquired CCi, a London-headquartered consultancy specializing in delay and quantum advisory for the insurance and construction industry, and in 2022 acquired Hargreaves Jones, a Manchester-based commercial and project management consultancy.
The acquisition of the two UK firms added approximately 145 employees and expanded Rimkus’ geographical footprint into Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
Rimkus said the brand unification will provide clients with a clear, one-stop solution for their consulting needs.
“Since Rimkus, CCi, and Hargreaves Jones joined forces, our shared intention is to become a one-stop-solution for our clients by introducing new integrated services and expanding the strength and breadth of our expertise across our global network of offices,” said Mark Barrow, group president, global services, Rimkus.
Founded in 1983, Rimkus has more than 1,000 professionals across all 50 states and 10 countries. The firm provides a range of services in forensics, quantum and delay, built environment solutions, and laboratory services, as well as solutions for the life sciences industry.
“CCi has grown significantly, and we have plans for this to continue under the Rimkus brand. We are driven by an ambitious growth plan, fueled by the global demand for our services,” said Jonathan Higgins, CEO of Rimkus. “Our goal is to become a worldwide leader in construction consulting and support, engineering, and life sciences, and to do so, we must leverage the collective strength of our people by uniting under one brand with a continued commitment to industry-leading customer service.”
Rimkus earlier this year received a strategic growth investment from HGGC, a Palo Alto, CA-based mid-market private equity firm.
