DXC Technology hires Ramnath Venkataraman as president of consulting and engineering
DXC Technology, an Ashburn, VA-headquartered IT consulting firm, has hired Ramnath Venkataraman as president of consulting and engineering services (CES).
Based in New York, Venkataraman joins from Accenture, where he spent nearly 30 years.
In his new role at DXC, he will lead a CES division that has 50,000 consultants and engineers. The division has advanced capabilities in AI, data analytics, and application modernization, and supports clients with solving complex strategic and technology challenges.
“Ramnath is a world-class technology and consulting leader with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation at a global scale," said Raul Fernandez, president and CEO of DXC, to whom Venkataraman will report. “Ramnath will play a critical role in strengthening and further simplifying our offerings, driving performance, and creating differentiated value for our global customers."
Venkataraman most recently led Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers, a global network of over 300,000 professionals. He played a central role in establishing Accenture’s technology capabilities in India.
Venkataraman also founded and led the consulting firm’s private equity practice, building out its due diligence and value creation capabilities.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Podar College of Commerce and Economics in India and is a chartered accountant and cost and management accountant in India.
“I look forward to working with the talented team here to help our customers accelerate their transformation journeys, harness the power of AI to drive tangible business outcomes, and solidify our position as a leader in innovative technology services," Venkataraman said.
