DXC promotes Anthony Pappas to chief marketing officer
DXC Technology, an Ashburn, VA-headquartered IT consulting firm, has promoted Anthony Pappas to chief marketing officer.
Based in the firm’s headquarters, Pappas joined DXC six months ago as VP of business leadership – helping shape the company’s new identity and market positioning.
In his new role, Pappas will oversee the firm’s global marketing organization and will be tasked with building a high-performance, data-driven function closely aligned with sales enablement.
"Anthony has been instrumental in reshaping how DXC shows up in the marketplace," said Raul Fernandez, president and CEO, DXC Technology. "Under his leadership, DXC is well positioned to expand its market presence and accelerate innovation in AI-driven enterprise solutions."
Pappas has more than 30 years of global marketing experience. In 2003, he founded creative agency Pappas Group, which he built and led until its sale to DMI in 2014. In his subsequent tenure at DMI between 2014 and 2025, Pappas served as president and chief creative officer of the global brand marketing and customer experience division.
Prior to founding his independent agency, Pappas was VP of creative services at Proxicom.
“I’m honored to step into the role of CMO at such a transformative time for DXC," said Pappas. "We’re redefining our brand around the power of AI to deliver real business outcomes for our customers. I look forward to amplifying DXC’s innovation story and helping the world’s leading enterprises achieve more through partnership with DXC."
DXC is a public company with 121,000+ employees in 60+ countries. The firm has practices in cloud and infrastructure, consulting and engineering services, insurance software and BPS, modern workplace, and security.
DXC earlier this year hired ex-Accenture executive Ramnath Venkataraman as president of consulting and engineering services (CES).
