Oliver Wyman hires JD Kearney as partner in Dallas
Oliver Wyman, a New York-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired JD Kearney as a partner in its turnaround and restructuring practice in Dallas.
Kearney brings more than 20 years of experience advising on operational performance and profitability in the manufacturing sector.
Kearney most recently served as CEO of AAI Partners, a boutique turnaround consulting firm. Before that, he was a senior director at EY-Parthenon and a senior manager at Kearney. Earlier in his career, he was an operations engineer at Lockheed Martin.
Kearney has an MBA from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Yale University.
“J.D. possesses a combination of operational precision and strategic insight that is critical for navigating financial distress or underperformance,” said Tom Hoyland, partner and North American head of turnaround and restructuring. “His track record of improving financial performance, optimizing manufacturing networks, and driving enterprise value creation makes him a key asset as we expand our capabilities to meet growing demand in the industrial sector.”
Oliver Wyman’s turnaround and restructuring practice supports clients with advisory services in liquidity forecasting and cash management, lender advisory, and performance transformation.
The wider firm has 7,000 employees delivering consulting in strategy, operations, sales and marketing, and digital, among other areas.
“I am excited to join Oliver Wyman and contribute to a team known for its deep sector knowledge and executional rigor,” said Kearney.
Oliver Wyman earlier this year acquired Validate Health, a Chicago-based healthcare analytics consultancy.
