SolomonEdwards appoints George Kelly and Carissa Robb as managing partners
SolomonEdwards, a Philadelphia-based business consulting firm, has appointed George Kelley as managing partner of the office of the CFO (OCFO) practice and Carissa Robb as managing partner of the banking and financial services practice. The appointments came into effect in July.
George Kelly (Chicago) joined the firm in January as a managing director, bringing 30+ years of experience in business advisory and professional services.
He previously spent 24 years with staffing firm ManpowerGroup, serving as a senior vice president and leading the $1-billion US staffing business as well as Jefferson Wells North America, a $100-million division focusing on advisory services in risk, finance, and tax services.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, where he was a senior consultant.
Kelly has a master’s degree in accounting and management from University College Dublin.
“George’s appointment marks a critical milestone as we evolve to meet the demands of the modern OCFO,” said John Gulnac, CEO of SolomonEdwards. “He brings formidable experience in client service, team leadership, and solution delivery.”
Carissa Robb (Portland, ME) joined the firm in 2023 as lead of the consumer banking and digital enablement practice and was named a partner in 2024.
In her role as managing partner of banking and financial services, she will lead delivery of finance, risk, and operations solutions to banks, credit unions, and fintechs.
Robb has more than 15 years of financial services industry experience. Prior to SolomonEdwards, she spent four-and-a-half years at Constant, a financial services SaaS firm, where she was president and chief product officer as well as chief operations and compliance officer.
Before that, Robb spent nearly a decade with TD Bank, serving as senior vice president and head of US loan servicing. Earlier in her tenure at the bank, she was vice president and group manager for collections and loss mitigation.
Robb has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Maine.
“Carissa brings a rare combination of strategic foresight, regulatory remediation and startup innovation,” said Gulnac. “Her leadership is redefining our role from a traditional compliance partner to a strategic enabler that empowers BFS leaders to be risk-ready, tech-savvy, and execution-focused.”
