Empower Consulting Partners, a firm focused on advising companies with professional employer organization selection, has launched in Boca Raton, Florida.

Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) are outsourced partner companies that deliver human resources, payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance services. PEOs allow companies to focus on core competencies while reducing cost and administrative burden related to the HR function.

According to the National Association of PEOs, small and medium-sized enterprises that use PEO services are up to 50% less likely to fail, while 66% of SMEs that use PEOs report an increase in profitability. As of 2017, PEO revenue in the US was an estimated $174 billion, with 907 organizations operating in the US, and servicing 3.7 million worksite employees.

With so much choice, it can be a daunting process to figure out the best way to approach HR outsourcing. Newly launched Empower Consulting Partners aims to simplify the PEO selection process for its clients.

The firm offers a six-step process that includes initial needs analysis, data review and submission, quote review, recommendation, final review, and ongoing support. By using the consultancy, companies can ensure they pick the right firm at the right price, while reducing liability, ensuring compliance, and making the overall process less taxing.

Empower is headed by three PEO industry veterans with more than 50 years of collective experience between them: Andrea Garcia, CEO; Jeffrey Farber, COO; and Rachel Barden, president.

The Boca Raton–based consultancy will serve local, regional, and national clientele across all industries, including retail, industrials, nonprofit, healthcare, hospitality, and professional services.

“We have long standing relationships within the Boca Raton community and throughout the tri-county area, and our team felt it was important to stay connected within the community which we all have worked in for so many years,” Barden said. “Boca Raton is a vibrant and growing city, and we look forward to expanding our current network and forming new relationships.”
