Sikich buys Saleforce experts NexGen Consultants
Chicago-based accounting and consulting firm Sikich has acquired NexGen Consultants, a Cincinnati-based consultancy specializing in the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions for financial services, manufacturing, and nonprofit clients.
Founded in 2007, NexGen is a Salesforce gold consulting partner, and has completed over 2750 client projects using the popular customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The Cincinnati firm has worked with clients ranging from 10-person companies to Fortune 500s.
The acquisition of NexGen bolsters Sikich’s technology consulting offering. The Chicago-based firm offers accounting, tax, and audit services, as well as an expansive advisory offering which includes forensics, supply chain, wealth management, and human resources advisory services, among others. On the tech consulting side, Sikich delivers services in emerging technology, business intelligence, cloud and infrastructure, and ERP and CRM software.
“NexGen has more than 10 years of experience helping over 1,000 clients maximize their investments in the Salesforce.com ecosystem and take full advantage of a truly innovative business solution,” said Jim Drumm, leader of Sikich's technology team. “The addition of NexGen not only strengthens our technology portfolio but also diversifies our CRM offerings, allowing our customers to access the leading solutions on the market. With NexGen's talented team onboard, our customers will be able to deploy Salesforce's complete set of advanced capabilities, including artificial intelligence, to achieve digital transformation.”
Matt Mountain, founder of NexGen Consultants, added, “Since our founding, we've been entirely committed to being experts on Salesforce solutions. We are excited to add our knowledge and experience to Sikich's already robust technology group.”
Founded in 1982, Sikich has more than 850 employees across 12 US offices, with a strong regional presence in the Midwest. The company focuses on middle market clients across a wide range of industries.
Like many consultancies, the firm has been working to expand its technology consulting capabilities. Last month Sikich announced the creation of a new intelligent automation services team to help middle market clients leverage robotics process automation (RPA) technology. RPA bots allows organizations to boost efficiency and reduce costs in easily automated, routine, and repetitive back-office tasks.
