Attain hires Joe Kehoe as DoD practice head
Attain, a public-sector-focused management and technology consultancy, has added Joe Kehoe as a managing director and leader of the firm’s Department of Defense (DoD) practice. He will be based in the National Capital Region.
Kehoe brings more than 20 years of experience in government consulting to the role, where he will oversee the growth of the Attain’s DoD practice. The McLean, VA-based firm delivers strategy and digital transformation consulting to government, education, healthcare, and non-profit clients.
Kehoe was previously an associate partner at IBM Global Business Services, where he spent a total of 11 years (2017-2020; 2004-2011). In his most recent role as delivery and business sales executive and leader of the IBM cognitive and analytics DoD team, Kehoe, won $190 million in new business, established a new regional center for analytics, and developed and implemented a new growth strategy for cognitive and analytics sales to the Army market.
In his earlier stint at IBM, Kehoe was a senior managing consultant in the defense sector, serving as an account and delivery manager for the Defense Logistics Agency and Business Transformation Agency portfolio.
Kehoe was also previously VP of sales at BlueWater Federal Solutions, where he oversaw corporate growth for the DoD and joint intelligence teams, and senior director and intelligence community account lead at NTT Data Services. Earlier in his career, Kehoe was a senior consultant at Booz Allen, where he focused on business development with defense agency clients.
"We are proud to welcome Joe to Attain," said Manish Agarwal, president and COO of Attain. "With proven success in the delivery of next-generation, client-centric solutions and a focus on helping clients achieve mission objectives across the Department of Defense, Joe is well positioned to grow the practice to the next level."
Kehoe said, “I'm looking forward to continuing to build upon the firm's strong momentum, delivering digital solutions and transformation to our DoD clients.”
