HKA adds Patrick Sanders as growth leader for Americas
HKA, a global risk and disputes consulting firm, has welcomed Patrick Sanders as partner and regional chief growth officer for the Americas.
Based in Los Angeles, Sanders will focus on helping HKA achieve its strategic growth plans in the Americas region. He will report directly to Frank Giunta, regional CEO for the Americas.
Sanders brings nearly 30 years of experience developing and executing corporate initiatives, with cross-functional management experience across sales, finance, and operations.
He most recently spent three-and-half years as CEO of Intensity, an economics consultancy that was acquired by Secretariat in February. During his tenure, Sanders quadrupled the billable capacity of the firm, opened new offices in five major markets, and increased enterprise value from $16 million to a final sale price of $120 million.
Before that, he spent eight years at legal services firm First Legal Network, serving as chief operating officer and chief sales & marketing officer.
Earlier in his career, Sanders spent a decade at enterprise information management firm Inovis (now OpenText), where he was latterly VP of corporate sales.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis.
“I am excited to welcome Patrick to the HKA team,” Giunta said. “He is a results-oriented business strategist with extensive leadership capabilities and many years of experience in sales, sales operations, and mergers and acquisitions. I look forward to working with Patrick as we continue our growth journey in the Americas.”
HKA provides consulting services in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness, and litigation support. The London-headquartered firm specializes in capital projects and infrastructure, contract disputes, and consulting for federal contractors.
HKA has more than 1,000 professionals in 45+ offices across 17 countries, including 20 offices in the United States.
“I have been impressed with the growth of the HKA brand in the marketplace over the past six years,” Sanders said. “I am eager to join the team to further enhance the firm’s reputation in core and new markets. I am looking forward to collaborating with colleagues as we continue to grow our business, attract best-in-class talent, and prioritize the needs of our clients.”
