Charles River Associates hires Amanda Rigby as VP in forensics practice
Charles River Associates (CRA), a Boston-headquartered management consultancy, has hired Amanda Rigby as a vice president in its forensic services practice in Chicago.
Rigby brings over 26 years of professional services experience with a focus on risk management, regulatory compliance, global investigations, and governance. She has deep expertise in leading internal investigations for boards and companies on topics including financial misstatements, workplace compliance and misconduct, and discrimination. Rigby also designs and implements business solutions in risk, compliance, and business operations.
She joins CRA from KPMG, where she spent 17 years and latterly served as principal and forensic practice leader, One Americas leader, and global investigations leader. In the role, she oversaw a team of 750 professionals and held P&L responsibility for forensic services in the US, including financial crime, investigations, compliance, and disputes.
Prior to her tenure at KPMG, Rigby was a manager at Crowe LLP.
She has a bachelor’s degree in information and decision sciences and finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
“We are excited to welcome Amanda Rigby to CRA,” said CRA’s president and CEO Paul Maleh. “During this period of vigorous shareholder activism and regulatory enforcement, her experience is of tremendous relevance and value to clients who are seeking to strengthen their corporate culture of compliance and confirm the efficacy of their compliance programs.”
CRA earlier this year welcomed Jeffrey Garfield and Waqas Shahid as VPs in its forensic practice.
CRA has more than 900 employees across offices in the Americas, Europe, and Australia. The firm advises on business strategy, performance, and economic and financial matters pertaining to litigation and regulatory proceedings.
