RGP adds Roger Carlile to board of directors
Resources Connection (RGP), an Irvine, CA-headquartered management consultancy, has appointed Roger Carlile, founder of Ankura Consulting Group, to its board of directors.
The RGP board on June 3 voted to increase its membership from 10 to 11 people and appointed Carlile as a director. He will also serve as a member of the compensation and corporate governance and nominating committees of the board.
“Roger is a seasoned entrepreneur and senior advisor, and we are delighted to welcome him to our Board,” said Kate Duchene, CEO of RGP. “He brings over 35 years of demonstrated success in the human capital industry to our boardroom. Roger’s acumen for scaling global businesses and leading transformational change will be invaluable as we enhance and expand our capabilities within the ever-changing professional services industry.”
Carlile in 2014 founded Ankura, a New York-based advisory and forensic accounting firm, and served as CEO and chairman for five and six years, respectively. During his tenure, he grew the firm to over $550 million in revenue and 1,500 employees.
Before that, Carlile spent over a decade at FTI Consulting, where he served as CFO, CAO, and CHRO, as well as global leader of the forensic and litigation consulting and technology segments. He also previously served as global and Americas leader of KPMG’s forensic services practice and held positions at PwC and Deloitte.
“Roger joins our Board with more than two decades of experience in C-suite leadership positions. His industry expertise will be a tremendous benefit to the RGP business, and we look forward to his contributions,” said Donald Murray, chairman of the board, RGP.
RGP was founded in 1996 as a part of Deloitte US and spun off as a public company in 2000. The firm provides staffing solutions, project execution support, and end-to-end solution delivery in strategy and transformation, finance and accounting, risk and compliance, and technology and digital.
RGP has 3,600 professionals across 38 offices globally and has served 88% of the Fortune 100.
The consultancy recently appointed Bhadresh Patel as COO.
