CRA adds Christopher Palmer as senior consultant in finance practice

Charles River Associates (CRA), a Boston-headquartered management consulting firm, has appointed Christopher Palmer, PhD, as a senior consultant in its finance practice.

Based in Boston, Palmer is an academic whose research focuses on how credit, real estate, and labor markets respond to periods of significant upheaval.

Palmer is an associate professor of finance at the MIT School of Management, where he has taught for over seven years. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, an affiliate with the Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School.

Palmer previously spent three years teaching at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he was an assistant professor of real estate.

He holds a PhD in economics from MIT and a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Brigham Young University.

CRA was founded in 1965 and has over 1,000 consultants across 20+ global offices. The firm focuses on litigation, regulatory, financial, and management consulting.
