RGP hires Brett Wells as ERP practice leader

RGP, a Dallas-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Brett Wells as vice president of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business technology solutions.

Based in Dallas, Wells will lead strategy, delivery, and innovation in Oracle, SAP, and Workday. He will oversee global ERP programs at RGP, partnering with business and technology leaders to modernize core systems and unlock value across finance, supply chain, and human resources.

Wells has over 26 years of consulting and industry experience in ERP, with deep expertise in sales and business development. He has held ERP leaderships roles at many of the world’s largest IT consulting and managed services firms.

Wells joins RGP from Accenture, where he spent the last year-and-a-half as ERP cloud transformation leader. Before that, he was global practice head of ERP cloud consulting at Infosys, global head of Oracle and SAP consulting and strategy for the financial services sector at Tata Consultancy Services, and enterprise ERP cloud technology and sales leader at IBM.

Earlier in his career, Wells was global portfolio and sales leader for ERP applications and technology at Capgemini and VP at Oracle Retail. He began his consulting career at Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology), where he was a business analyst in the banking and insurance practice.

Prior to entering consulting, Wells served in the United States Marine Corps.

He has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Texas at Austin.

“[Brett Wells] brings deep experience from companies such as Accenture, Infosys, and IBM with a strong track record of building and scaling global ERP practices and driving multimillion-dollar growth through strategic innovation and outcome-focused transformation,” Bhadresh Patel, COO, said during RGP’s Q4 2025 earnings call.

RGP provides strategic consulting and outsourced solutions in finance, HR, operations, and technology. The firm has more than 2,600 people across 40+ global offices.

RGP is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market and has worked with 88% of the Fortune 100.

The firm earlier this year appointed Jennifer Jones as its first chief marketing officer.
