West Monroe bolsters senior team with four new members

West Monroe, a Chicago-based management and technology consultancy, has made four senior hires in its US offices: Vikas Garg, Mark Davisson, John Summitt, and Derek Sappenfield.

Based in Chicago, Vikas Garg (senior partner) joins West Monroe’s healthcare practice with a focus on payer transformation engagements. He brings 20+ years of experience advising health plans on operations, quality performance improvement, and managing cost of care in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial.

Garg previously was a principal at ZS and a managing director at Strategy&.

Based in Chicago, Mark Davisson (managing director) will advise energy and utilities clients on AI-driven transformation. He brings 30+ years of professional experience, with deep expertise across Industry X.0, IIoT, and asset management transformations.

Davisson was previously a managing director in Accenture’s Industry X practice and an associate VP and chief systems engineer at SAIC.

Based in Memphis, John Summitt (director) brings extensive platform expertise and industry relationships to West Monroe’s ServiceNow practice, where he will help shape GTM strategy, accelerate sales, and advise clients. He brings more than 25 years of experience in software sales and consulting.

Summitt joins from ServiceNow, where he spent 14 years and global senior director of sales finance and supply chain workflows. Before that, he was a senior solutions consultant at Ignite Technologies and an account director at CA Technologies.

Based in Washington, DC, Derek Sappenfield (senior partner) will lead the office of the CFO function, bringing more than three decades of experience in transforming finance operations.

He joins from FTI Consulting, where he was a managing director in the office of the CFO solutions practice. Before that, Sappenfield was a VP and global automation offering leader at IBM Automation and a senior managing director and leader of the shared services and outsourcing advisory practice at PwC.

West Monroe earlier this year promoted 11 team members to managing director.
