West Monroe launches operational intelligence platform Clonal
West Monroe, a Chicago-headquartered management and technology consulting firm, has unveiled Clonal, an operational intelligence platform that helps organizations drive real-time, enterprise-wide coordinated execution.
Developed internally via the firm’s intrapreneurship programs, Clonal allows clients to create a live operations model across systems, workflows, teams, and assets that can detect issues earlier, coordinate responses faster, and continuously improve execution.
“Too many organizations struggle to align decisions and execution across the enterprise because they’re not operating from the same source of truth. Clonal was built to solve that challenge, not just through technology, but through a deployment model that combines the platform with West Monroe’s operational, technical, and organizational expertise required to drive enterprise change,” said Gil Mermelstein, West Monroe’s CEO.
A company’s various AI pilots and dashboards can fail to produce sustained business value because execution is fragmented across systems and teams, West Monroe says.
The Clonal platform, in contrast, connects fragmented systems into a shared, real-time view of the business. The platform embeds intelligence into workflows rather than simply providing dashboards and alerts, and runs in a client’s environment overlaid on existing systems. Clonal also provides built-in controls, auditability, and measurement.
“Most enterprise AI initiatives fail because organizations still lack the operational context, workflow integration, governance, and trust needed to turn intelligence into action,” said John Rosato, head of technology at West Monroe. “Clonal was engineered to solve those four challenges together, inside the customer’s environment and on top of the systems they already run. That’s what turns AI investment into measurable business outcomes.”
Clonal also boasts a compressed implementation timeline of weeks instead of years, the firm says.
Founded in 2002, West Monroe has 2,250 people across offices in the US, UK, and Costa Rica. The firm’s practices include business operations, M&A, organization and people, customer engagement, product and experiences, and data and technology.
