West Monroe hires Adam Gersting as Senior Director in Dallas office
Business and technology consulting firm West Monroe Partners has hired Adam Gersting as Senior Director at its Dallas office. The 24-year consulting industry veteran will take the role of Technology Lead for the firm’s TOLA region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas).

Founded by four former Arthur Andersen consultants in 2002, the vibrant firm has grown to employ 950 professionals across 10 US offices. Now, West Monroe has appointed Adam Gersting as a Senior Director in its Dallas office to help the accelerate growth and client services in the TOLA region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas). Gersting will serve as technology lead for the region.
Gersting boasts over two decades’ worth of management consulting experience, with a strong focus on data & analytics and other technology platforms and solutions. During his distinguished career, Gersting has supported Fortune 500 businesses and mid-market clients in industries including oil & gas, utilities, chemicals, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and food & beverage.“Adam brings great technology expertise – from planning phases through implementation – and applies it to help clients solve their business problems,” remarked Greg Layok, Managing Director and leader of West Monroe’s Technology practice. “He is a great example of West Monroe Partners’ ‘uncommon blend’ of business savvy and technology expertise provided in the context of our clients’ industry challenges.”
Prior to joining West Monroe, Gersting was a Managing Director at tech and advisory firm Slalom Consulting for three years, transforming the Houston location from 10 people in a temporary office space to a 150-person, $25 million consulting business. Prior to that, Gersting was a Partner at IBM’s Business Analytics practice in Houston from 2010-2014, wherein he led Big Data and analytics programs for clients in the utilities and telecommunications industries.
Gersting started his consulting career at Accenture in 1994, where he stayed for 16 years, eventually making Partner. He rose up the ranks of the consultancy to eventually lead its Information Management Services practice for the North American energy, chemicals, and utilities industries.

Adam Gersting holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has also completed executive business programs at the University of Oxford - Said Business School, and at The Wharton School of Business.
