Charles River Associates launches healthcare analytics platform
Management consultancy Charles River Associates (CRA) has launched its new Healthcare Claims Analytics Platform (HCAP).
Developed by a life sciences practice team led by Eddie Li, Travis Ruch, Birnur Ozbas-Erdem, and Jing Li, the new data visualization tool will provide streamlined analysis of patient, healthcare practitioner, and healthcare organization data to support better-informed decision-making.
“The development and launch of HCAP is an exciting achievement for CRA and reflects our commitment to generating value through innovation,” said Paul Maleh, president and CEO of CRA. “Clients value our deep industry knowledge, rigorous analytic techniques, and decades of hands-on experience spanning thousands of successful engagements.”According to Gregory Bell, leader of CRA’s life sciences practice, the tool’s interface took a year-and-a-half to develop, leverages machine learning, and is compatible with various data sources. “With HCAP, clients can develop insights that inform strategic decisions and key business operations across therapeutic and geographic markets,” Bell said.
The tool helps clients visualize intelligence on patients, physicians, hospitals, and the broader healthcare market. It also offers a clinical trial module to strengthen recruitment and resource prioritization by identifying key providers in patient treatment and care.
CRA’s wider life sciences practice provides consulting in strategy, policy, pricing and market access, and litigation to pharma, medical device, and biotech clients, as well as to law firms, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.
Headquartered in Boston, CRA advises on business strategy, performance, and economic and financial matters pertaining to litigation and regulatory proceedings. The firm has more than 800 professionals across offices in the Americas, Europe, and Australia.
