Chuck Stewart joins SGS Maine Pointe as managing director
Chuck Stewart has joined SGS Maine Pointe, a supply chain and operations consulting firm, as a managing director in its consumer goods & retail (CG&R) practice.
Based in Cincinnati, Stewart brings more than 25 years of experience helping CG&R companies improve performance and drive growth. In his new role at SGS Maine Pointe, he will work with industry clients to develop their entire buy-make-move-fulfill supply chain.
Stewart previously was a business development executive at Myrtle Consulting Group, an industrial operations consultancy acquired by Accenture in 2020. Before that, he was national sales director at software firm Infor and VP of the industry solutions group at software firm Consona (now Aptean).
Earlier in his career, Stewart founded and ran Encompix, an ERP software firm catering to engineer-to-order, project-based manufacturing companies.
He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Miami University.
“I am looking forward to engaging with our clients and helping them to achieve growth and success in the coming years,” Stewart said. “It has been an especially challenging time for consumer goods and retail these past few years, and I have been especially excited to see the incredible success SGS Maine Pointe has had helping clients transform these challenges into opportunities and a new competitive advantage.”
SGS Maine Pointe’s CG&R practice helps companies overcome supply chain disruptions and build in greater flexibility, data visibility, and resiliency.
“It’s been so exciting to witness the success and growth of SGS Maine Pointe’s CG&R practice,” said Tiffany Pankratz-Umbehr, senior managing director and head of the consumer goods & retail practice. “With Chuck as a Managing Director of the practice, I am confident we will continue our path to growth, while helping our clients achieve consistently outstanding results.”
Stewart’s arrival follows several managing director hires at SGS Maine Pointe in the last year, including Lee Cocis, Dan Ginsberg, and Scott Sparks.
