Resultant wins Google Public Sector contract with State of Illinois

Resultant, an Indianapolis-based technology consulting firm, has been awarded a ten-year contract to provide Google professional services and products to the State of Illinois.

Under the ten-year, joint purchase, master contract, Resultant will serve as sole provider of Google Public Sector products and professional services for any State of Illinois agency, board, or commission, as well as any local government or public education institution in Illinois.

“Access to Google Public Sector’s suite of powerful products in combination with Resultant’s deep public sector expertise and innovative approach to solving the State’s toughest problems will allow government entities across Illinois to more rapidly move the needle for their programs and ultimately improve citizen outcomes,” said Josh Wakefield, vice president of public sector services at Resultant.

Resultant will partner with MSF&W, a Springfield, IL-based information systems consulting firm, on delivery of the contract.

Under the contract, Illinois agencies will benefit from economies of scale when purchasing Google products and services through Resultant – including Google Workspace, DocumentAI, and Contact Center AI. State and local government organizations will also be able to purchase professional services for Google Cloud, including customer application development and data and analytics.

Resultant supported the first five state adoptions of Google Public Sector products, and was in 2021 named the Google Cloud Industry Solution Partner of the Year for the Public Sector. The firm’s recent successful Google Cloud engagements include helping the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) and Iowa agencies modernize their legacy infrastructure and applications.

Resultant was founded in 2008 as the consulting arm of accounting firm Katz, Sapper & Miller. The firm has 450+ employees across nine US offices providing services in strategy and planning, advanced data analytics, holistic managed services, application development, and cloud and network solutions.

Resultant was acquired by Renovus in 2019 and then sold to Investcorp in 2021. The firm, formerly KSM Consulting, rebranded to Resultant in 2021.
