Baker Tilly buys Sage Intacct specialist AcctTwo
Baker Tilly US has acquired AcctTwo, a Houston-based provider of accounting technology consulting and outsourcing services.
Founded in 2010, AcctTwo is a seven-time Partner of the Year of Sage Intacct, a leading cloud financial management platform. The firm delivers consulting, custom software development, and managed services for Sage Intacct – serving clients in nonprofit, software-as-a-service, home services, and energy.
AcctTwo has approximately 100 employees across Houston, Dallas, and remote locations. The firm was No. 2,997 on the 2021 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing firms, achieving three-year revenue growth of 129%.
Baker Tilly’s purchase of AcctTwo will strengthen its financial management technology offering within the Baker Tilly Digital division. The move will also bolster the firm’s presence in Texas. Financial terms of the transaction, which is effective October 1, were not disclosed.

Baker Tilly last year acquired Talavant, a Madison, WI-based data analytics management consulting firm. The deal added 25 employees in Wisconsin.
The firm also enhanced its core strength in assurance and tax with the acquisition of Margolin, Winer & Evens last month and Squar Milnar in August 2020. The two transactions together added nearly 700 professionals in the US.
