West Monroe adds Tanya Moore as chief people officer
West Monroe, a Chicago-headquartered management and technology consulting firm, has hired Tanya Moore as a partner and chief people officer.
Based in Washington, DC, Moore will lead initiatives to develop the firm’s workforce and foster DEI. She will also partner with the executive leadership team to align people strategy with overall company goals as West Monroe “streamlines to serve clients efficiently and effectively.”
West Monroe has added substantial digital resources in the last two years – including product engineering firms Verys and Carbon Five – following a September 2021 announcement that it would invest $250 million into digital.
The firm also in 2021 sold a 50% stake to investment firm MSD Partners.
Moore has over 25 years of consulting and human resources experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She has expertise in strategic workforce management; talent transformation; reskilling; employee experience and engagement; organizational change management; training; compensation and performance management; talent acquisition; and workforce and leadership development.
Moore joins West Monroe from M.C. Dean, a design-build and systems integration corporation serving mission-critical organizations, where she spent three years as chief people officer. In the role. Moore led a modernization of the firm’s entire people lifecycle.
Before that, she spent more than two decades at IBM, holding several leadership positions in the talent and transformation consulting practice – including partner and head of public sector HR.
She began her career at PwC, where she was latterly a senior management consultant.
Moore has an MBA from William & Mary and a BBA from the University of Mary Washington.
