Revel Consulting names new Technology Managing Director
Digital consultancy Revel Consulting has named Harsh Parikh managing director. Parikh brings nearly 20 years’ experience developing high-end technological solutions for a wide range of clients to the table as Revel marches forward with its ambitious growth strategy.
A full-service digital consultancy, Revel was launched as CRM Consulting in 2006 and rebranded two years later in response to B2B demands for advanced digital infrastructure solutions. Strong growth in the decade since reached one of several peaks in 2016 when Revel outgrew its roots in suburban Seattle and doubled its square footage with a new headquarters in the bustling Belltown neighborhood.
That year also saw Revel expand its presence across San Francisco and the Bay Area, where it acquired Two Shea Consulting – a tech consultancy servicing Silicon Valley clients. Revel’s B2B consulting pedigree now includes work with clients as prestigious and varied as Microsoft, PayPal, Yahoo, Samsung, and Expedia.
Parikh’s hiring as Managing Director for Technology comes hot on the heels of the appointment of David Overcash as Chief Commercial Officer. Both men will report to Vikas Kamran, CEO and co-founder, and formerly a Senior Manager at Accenture. Parikh and Overcash are expected to work together to blend growth strategies with the evolution of new technological solutions for clients.
Having kick-started his career with roles at Accenture and Microsoft, Parikh has developed expertise in digital marketing, enterprise solution architecture, CMS platforms and tech strategies and roadmaps.
Parikh is a seasoned technology executive with nearly 20 years of experience leading large engineering teams, architecting complex technical solutions across multiple service offerings and platforms, and building and scaling geographically distributed teams to deliver them. His most recent role was as Senior Technology Director at SapientRazorfish, where he spent ten years.
“Harsh is a true leader who knows what it takes to build teams that can architect, implement and run comprehensive digital transformation initiatives, and we’re excited to have him on board,” said Kamran.
“While large legacy firms struggle to reformat to meet today’s reality, Revel’s digital native status puts us on the fast track to becoming the industry’s premier full-service digital consultancy. Pairing Harsh’s deep technology expertise with the commercialization strategies we’re putting in place sends the signal that we’re not slowing down any time soon.”
Commenting on his appointment, Parikh said: “Revel’s been digital since day one, which positions the firm to accelerate in today’s changing consulting market and makes it a powerful draw.”
“Very few firms are digital natives, able to respond at the pace the market demands and put the right pieces in place to deliver the full set of solutions companies are looking for. I’m excited I can be part of Revel as the firm does just that.”
