KPMG and Google join forces to bring Industry 4.0 solutions to clients

Big Four professional services firm KPMG has teamed up with Google to provide digital solutions powered by the the tech giant’s Cloud Platform. The partnership has already rolled out solutions related to intelligent customer interaction and GDPR compliance, with more innovative solutions in the pipeline.

Businesses striving to remain competitive are increasingly looking at digitalization and Industry 4.0 elements like artificial intelligence and cloud computing to unlock new efficiencies and boost productivity. Tech behemoth Google is one of the leading forces in AI, cloud computing, and automation, and is shaping up to be the leading super-corporation of an exciting robotic future.

Many companies are contracting the help of consulting firms like KPMG to help them create and implement digital strategies. Most of the time, these consultancies partner up with premier tech firms like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and Google to provide tailored digital solutions for clients.

Now, Big Four accounting and consulting firm KPMG has announced that it has partnered with Google to support clients with the adoption of AI and cloud computing technology. KPMG will build a suite of solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support a wide range of industry clients with cyber security, compliance, and business and process performance improvement. The solutions will have the added strength of GCP’s trusted security, data analytics, and machine learning.

KPMG has two solutions ready on the Google Cloud Platform – KPMG Intelligent Interactions and GDPR Assessment and Compliance. Intelligent Interactions uses machine learning and speech-to-text technology to automate and enhance customer interactions. Virtual assistants built with Google Cloud machine learning can also predict customer needs.

KPMG’s GDPR solution assists clients with the challenges of compliance, while laying the basis for strong data management and privacy beyond the domain of GDPR. The solution combines KPMG’s advisory expertise in regulation and compliance with Google’s secure cloud-based data warehousing and infrastructure – reducing compliance costs while streamlining processes.

Accounting and consulting firm Deloitte will work with Google Cloud to create an array of solutions for the life sciences and healthcare, financial services, and retail sectors. The announcement was made at the annual Google Cloud Next conference in San Francisco.

Deloitte has an especially strong partnership with Google Cloud, having been named its Global Services Partner of the Year for two years running. Google Cloud is among the leading enterprise cloud platforms, alongside the offerings of industry heavyweights such as Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM.

Deloitte currently provides a number of industry-specific solutions build on the Google Cloud platform, targeting areas like big data and analytics, machine learning, application services, SAP, and security. Deloitte leverages its existing technology and industry-specific expertise to build solutions on Google’s powerful open-source software. Deloitte will also offer leading-edge solutions to help detect financial crimes.

The retail sector, meanwhile, will be able to benefit from advanced consumer insights and engagement, more connected supply chains, and efficient and modern commerce infrastructure.
